I need to switch two circuits with one switch. The circuits need to switch together. The first circuit needs to be switched on and off, the second circuit needs to switch momentary on with each switch. I tried a DPDT ON-ON toggle switch with the first circuit wired to switch on-off, the second circuit was wired on-on. The first circuit works fine, but the second circuit only works if you switch the toggle very slowly. There needs to be a longer off period for the second circuit to work. I then tried usuing a relay, it works better but sometimes switches to fast for the second circuit. The second circuit works fine with a momentary push button switch and the first circuit works fine with a toggle switch. I need to link them together with just one switch. I was thinking either a time delay relay, slow acting relay, latching relay or a special switch? I would like to keep the circuit as simple as possible.
