hi you all ! forgive me if this is stupid, i would like to know how to calculate the power consumption of an IC with the details provided in the datasheet, say 74ac00. Cos i am trying to estimate the usage hours of a product, so i am posting this Q. I am conscious that there are some equations out there that calculates the no. of pin outs & ins, the freq of these pins, and the Icc, Vcc . But the power consumption from these eqns turn out to be quite huge, like 200mW . So any helping hand on this issue ??
