Process-Driven EDI and
XML
Dee Electronics is fully EDI capable, with both Inbound and Outbound
transactions. We look at EDI as a "continuum" of Electronic Commerce and
Communication, which is not isolated to only one type of Electronic communication method.
We also look at EDI not as a "Program", but as a tool to make Programs work.
We will work Electronic Data Interchange in whatever environment or format you have. If
you have ANSI X12 capabilities, we can set up ANSIX12 EDI transactions (Quotation,
Forecast, Purchase Order, Confirmation, Shipment Notification, Invoice, Funds Transfer)
easily and quickly.
However, if you are not ANSI X12 capable like many companies, we are currently processing
a substantial volume of Email EDI Transactions. We are currently performing the
following transactions via Email with customers: Quotations, Forecast, Purchase Orders, PO
Confirmation, Shipment Notification, and Invoicing. These can be done in a format your
operation creates, or one that we are currently using.
We are also conducting business using XML data format, the latest emerging
standard of Data Transfer. Ask us about this new standard of Data
transfer and integration. Dee Electronics can help you understand XML
and how your organization can use it.
We also have Electronic Commerce built in as part of this website. You can check
stock, submit a Request for Quotation, create and send a Purchase Order, and send an email
message. We are also using Specific Customer Webpages in our site to customize
processing capabilities specific to each customer's needs.
