The 0201-sized SESD device’s miniature footprint is approximately 70% smaller than prior generation 0402-sized devices and helps provide protection and improve reliability of portable electronics such as mobile phones, MP3 players, PDAs and digital cameras. The miniature footprint offers designers flexibility in space-constrained applications. Bi-directional operation allows placement on the PCB without orientation constraint and won’t clip signals that swing below ground. Designed to withstand IEC61000-4-2 ESD test pulses, the SESD device helps protect sensitive integrated circuits (ICs). Offered in a bi-directional and ultra-low capacitance 0.6 picofarad (pF) device that is suitable for protecting very-high-speed data lines, such as USB and HDMI, or low-voltage antenna ports. The devices’ ultralow capacitance, low insertion loss (<0.5dB up to 3GHz), and high linearity of voltage vs. frequency helps minimize signal degradation. Also offered in a higher capacitance (12pF) device that can be used for low-speed generic interfaces such as keypads, power buttons, speakers, and microphone ports in portable electronics. Both devices offer 8kV contact and 15kV air discharge protection per the IEC61000-4-2 standard. For samples or more information, please send an email to MyFeedback@dee-inc.com, and be sure to include your contact information.

This crystal is approximately 33% smaller than previous models, measuring just 2.1mm × 1.3mm with a very low profile of 0.6mm. The miniature size of the new watch crystal makes it ideal for portable and handheld devices where space is critical. With a frequency of 32.768kHz, the new surface-mount device is optimized for a standard 12.5pF load capacitance, with an optional load capacitance of 9pF available. Frequency tolerance is ±20PPM at 25°C (77°F) and frequency stability is -0.04ppm/(change in C°)2 over the standard operating temperature of -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to 185°F). Turnover temperature range is +20°C to +30°C (68°F to 86°F), and storage temperature is -55°C to +125°C (-67°F to 257°F). Maximum equivalent series resistance of the crystal is 90k ohm, and insulation resistance is 500m ohm at 100VDC. Aging is ±3PPM per year. The termination finish is gold-over-nickel. For samples or more information, please send an email to MyFeedback@dee-inc.com, and be sure to include your contact information.

This new series of 3-phase line filters are designed to solve EMC problems efficiently and cost effectively. The filters are produced without potting compound, making them less costly and lighter weight than conventional filters. This series of filters are built to be used with 480 VAC installations and are available in single or two stage versions. The single stage filter is available from 16 – 150A. The two stage filter possesses a broader attenuation band with a leakage current of just 5 mA, making it ideal for use in installations equipped with residual current circuit breakers. They can be mounted lengthwise or upright, providing additional flexibility in design. Among various applications, the single and the two-stage filters are suited for drive systems such as material handling and conveyors, electrical or renewable energy equipment installations, uninterruptible power systems (UPS) for telecommunication, computer and data center systems, as well as medical equipment. The series has ENEC approvals. Approvals to cURus have been applied for. All versions are available from stock for small quantities of 1-5 and larger quantities have a lead time of 8-10 weeks. They are packaged as single units. For samples or more information, please send an email to EngHelpDesk@dee-inc.com. Dee can support all of your EMC needs.
