This ¾” (19mm) bimetal disc temperature control offers proven reliability in a moisture-resistant, sealed design. The snap-action of the bimetal disc provides high-speed contact separation, resulting in excellent life cycle characteristics at electrical loads up to 10 amps at 120VAC and 5 amps at 250VAC. The sealed design provides moisture resistance for moisture-prone environments. A wide variety of terminal, lead wire, and mounting configurations are available to provide maximum design flexibility. Offered in automatic reset SPST and automatic reset SPDT. The temperature sensitive bimetal disc is located at the bottom of the disc cup, adjacent to the surface to be monitored. Aluminum, tin-plated copper, and stainless steel cups are available for calibrations not exceeding 172°F (78°C) and temperature overrides not exceeding 200°F (93°C). Low Cost Remote Reset – Mechanical Vibration Switch Sensor

This new series of Smart Vibration Switches are now fully USB programmable and more cost-effective than ever. With two-wire operation, universal power, and a single ¼-28 stud mount, they are simple to install and nearly drop-in replacements for mechanical vibration switches. With Remote Reset, you no longer need to climb your cooling tower to reset a tripped switch. Simply install the reset button at any convenient location in the 2-wire power loop for safe and easy access. This unique, low cost vibration switch can replace most mechanical and many electronic vibration switches. Mechanical vibration switches (or Earthquake Switches as they are commonly referred) can stick, corrode, be inconsistent in their protection, and are notorious for false trips, or worse yet, not tripping at all. This can result in dangerous and costly catastrophic failures of cooling towers fans. The Smart Vibration Switch has an embedded precision accelerometer, a solid state relay, and adjustable time delays providing much better accuracy, repeatability, and reliability than Earthquake Switches. Additionally, it monitors vibration velocity, which is a much more repeatable and consistent measurement than acceleration. It is housed in a robust stainless steel housing that is hermetically sealed for use in the harshest environments and is intrinsically safe (optional) for use in hazardous areas. Operating temperature range of -40 to 185 °F and power required 24 to 240 V DC/AC 50/60 Hz. Enclosure rating of IP38. Possible applications would be 24/7 machinery protection, cooling tower fans and gearboxes, fin fans and motor pumps. -20°F to 150°F – Automatic Reset Pressure Switch

This compact, rugged switch utilizes a snap–acting stainless steel diaphragm that reverses its curvature when pressurized to a customer specified actuation pressure. When the disc snaps, it opens or closes a set of electrical contacts by means of a transfer pin. Resetting the switch occurs automatically when pressure drops below the release value. The unique latching mechanism of this design assures safe electrical cutout, even if the reset button is held fully depressed. This trip–free design prevents the consumer from restarting the equipment until the line pressure has dropped below the release set point. Single pole, single throw switch normally open or closed contacts. Factory calibrated pressure setpoints from vacuum to 750 psig (52 Bar). Hermetically sealed sensor.
