Improved Card Ejection Control with Newest Ultra-Small Memory Card Connectors

Broad line of microSD connectors has been expanded to include new versions that reduce memory card fly-out and sticking problems in mobile and compact devices.  Available in various profiles, the new versions include a detect terminal with a wiping function to assure good electrical contact.  Various features are employed to provide smooth and controlled card ejection.

This new 1.28mm height microSD card connector reduces memory card fly-out and sticking problems in digital cameras, tablet PCs, mobile phones, and other compact consumer electronic devices.  It is surface mountable and offered in push-push style.  It includes a detect terminal for card detection, and brake features for smooth, controlled card ejection.  The connector is rated at 0.5A and 10V and includes metal shielding for ESD protection.  An inner-lead terminal design provides secure contact reliability and prevents terminal stubbing during card insertion.

Along with our standard push-push types, we also offer a hinge-type version for mid-board layouts, and an economical push-pull version in different profile heights.  A Combo microSD/SIM connector for additional space savings is also offered.
