Dee Electronics introduces a new screwdriver made specifically for the PTSM terminal block. The PTSM is the world’s smallest, rugged spring-cage PCB terminal block. It has 2.5 mm spacing while standing just 5 mm tall.
Termination can be as simple as pushing in solid wire, but when using stranded wire and disengaging a wire from the terminal, a screwdriver is needed. The combination of the PTSM’s small size and available screwdrivers was not optimal. This encouraged Phoenix Contact to investigate further, and a perfect fit was found.
